Track Conditions for 5 Oct

Hi All

The track has had a new lease of life. The burms have been re-shaped for all you burm riders. The jumps have been picked up and repacked. It has been graded with all new soil and has been stonepicked as much as possible over the weekend and shall hopefully be doing more stonepicking and generally tidying up Saturday ready for Sunday.

There will be a burger van on site.

For those people who park outside the gate of the track, there is going to be a rule of no riding on ...

Riders wanted for a new motox club

Hi guys

There are a few people from the track and a few outsiders who want to start a new Motox Club in the AMCA ready for next year, the AMCA ride at some top tracks inc Waterstone, Pontrilas, Manmoel, Tirley etc etc.

Over the next few weeks we will be getting all the info we need to start the club up along with all the relevant paperwork for you the rider/s to sign up and have a go at racing with the AMCA.

Thats all the info i have at this present moment in time and off coarse i will ...

my worst experience

few years back when the thumpers 1st come out to play. i bought a brand new yzf426 02 model at the time.i let some tit have a go who lived by me.he tried racing a friend on a rmx50 for some stupid reason, lost control of the bike and smashed a tree HARD! the guy wrapped his leg around the tree quite bad. he totaled my bike.

i didnt have a job at the time so i worked with my friend to make sum money to rebuild it.

cost me quite a bit at the time needed fr forks new subframe ,wheel bars tank ...

my best motox experience is one of a kind i think,

when i rode weston last year steve ramon world champion past me 3 times on one lap theres not many riders who can say that, i then went on to break 5 ribs and damaged my lung, but when i look back i wish i could do it all again

All the marshalls were up the track sunday just gone and i can tell you with reguards to the amount of rain we had the track was very dry, we have allready started to place some new soil in the burms and stone picking has commenced, will let you no about weather, if you go to weather channel you can get a 10/14/28 day weather forcast from the met office, will keep you all updated

THE TRACK OPENING TIMES ARE

10.00AM TO 4.00 OR 5.00PM DEPENDING ON THE LIGHT AND OPEN IN ALL WEATHER.

A food van is on site on the day with hot food and tea, coffee & cold cans.

Toilet facilities for both male & female are available and our parts van is situated at the entrance of the track

TRACK RULES

No riding in pit area what so ever, you are to walk your bike to the designated start point which is located at the start of the kids track.

We are thinking of putting a whoops section on the track, and we thought we would ask you the rider to decide where to have it, it has got to be in a place where the water doesnt lay so much, we thought about having it at the bottom by the road but that place is at the bottom of the hill which is know good due to water drainage from the top of the track.

We are hoping to add this part to the track when the ground goes a bit harder, maybe a section at the top of the track in the far corner, ...

the track has be craded and rolled we put 2 new jump on the track and new soil put on to it. the new jumps will take a while to bed in.

The track has had new soil put on it and a rotivator all around the track. Off the start line we have put in a new jump & one more on the down hill at the back of the track. All jumps have been topped up. We have been stone picking on the track as well this weekend.

Karcher petrol jet wash for sale

Hi,

I have for sale a fully working Karcher petrol jet wash, the hose on the lance had a small repair but the karcher still works fine, great for washing your bike or any other dirty stuff...,

Also there is a second unit that is ideal for spares such as the engine..however the coil has snapped and the pump has been taken off (needs new seals).

It was the 4 round of the welsh championships on the 20th july at hendre, monmouth where there were some of the best riders in wales attending for championship points.

Scott Arlott did the track proud by comming 8th/4th/6th with an overall position of 5th, keep going scott and it wont be long before your on that podium, well done from all the marshalls

The work at gvmx is well on its way. We have put up new mashall points around the track. All the tyres have been removed off the big track and put around the small tracks. New soil has been put on all the tracks and graded and stone picking has started as well. Let you know what the conditions are like closer to the day.

TRACK 1

This track is for the 50cc and under, the track is oval and designed for the kids to learn to ride motox and quads, you the rider can go at you own pace. Adults are requested to supervise their children whilst they are learning to ride

TRACK 2

The 2nd track is for the 50cc to 65cc, it is more technical track with wide high burms, tight cornering and two table top jumps, it is well suited for the inter junior rides/racers.

Hi all

The tracks are all looking in a s**t hot condition, down to the kids track. More dirt has been put on the track in parts. We have been stone picking and raking it for the last week or more . If the track gets to dusty we will be putting a water bouser out. A lot of work has be put in from all the gvmx staff.

We are open from 10.00 am up to 5.00 pm . A food van is on site to supply you hot food and cold cans & water.

the track was s**t hot all day and it held up well. i would to thank all the riders for their cooperation when we had to stop the running of the track due to a accident. The marshalls are for the safety of you and us.

hi there, i have an 88 cr250 which i got from a friend, radiator was dry when i got it, so i filled it up and started bike. when i checked oil afterwards it was really thick consistency and grey, so i took casing off and fresh water was running out of engine, would this be water pump gasket or head gasket????? any help would be greatly appreciated
